Despite the peaceful location, you can reach the town center, the Harz National Park or the historic Samson Mine within a few minutes on foot. Whether hiking, relaxing or discovering sights – your holiday starts right at your doorstep. The town is situated at around 700 meters altitude and offers fresh mountain air, tranquility and a wonderful natural backdrop in every season.
